Tom Mellor is President and Founder of Windham Capital Group.  From 1982 - 1990 Mr. Mellor worked at Kidder Peabody & Co. where he raised capital for a select group of niche managers from institutional clients.  In 1990 he and his former partner founded Windham Capital Group where they ran Trillium Partners, a fund of funds seeking absolute returns.  In mid 1994 investors were fully redemed and the business model changed to capital raising.  Prior to his professional career, Mr. Mellor played for the 1972 Silver Medal US Olympic hockey team and professionally for the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL . Mr. Mellor graduated from Boston College in 1973. He enjoys golf, squash, and his 2 golden retrievers Sam and Sailor.

Roxane Mellor; Managing Director & Chief of Compliance
Roxane Mellor is a Director of Windham Capital Group and also serves as a Principal of Spoonhill Asset Management, the firm's affiliated broker dealer. Ms. Mellor began her professional career in 1975 with Fahnestock and Co., where she served as the firm's head securities trader. In 1978, Ms. Mellor co-founded ECM Securities, Inc., an NASD/SEC registered broker dealer specializing in oil and gas private placements. In 1995, Ms. Mellor joined the retail sales division of Morgan Stanley and Co., (formally Dean Witter) where she became a Vice President of the firm. In 2002, she and her husband, Tom Mellor, founded Spoonhill Asset Management, a broker/dealer registered with FINRA/ SEC.  Ms. Mellor currently serves as the firm's Financial and Operational Principal (FINOP) as well as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). Ms. Mellor has earned her series 7, 63, 27, and 24 licences. She enjoys cooking, gardening, tennis and her 2 golden retrievers, Sam and Sailor.


                        




      


     
Russell D'Argento is Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Windham Capital Group.  In 2005, Mr. D'Argento took a position with John Hancock Financial, working in their retail sales and marketing department. In early 2008 he founded Capital Hedge, a sales and marketing solution for the alternative investment space. While running the firm and overseeing it's sales team, Mr. D'Argento has grown Capital Hedge significantly providing marketing assistance to over 200 clients globally, spanning both the hedge fund community as well as the private equity sector. Capital Hedge still currently operates as one of the largest and most powerful investment research tools in the alternative industry. Prior to his professional career, Mr. D'Argento studied at the University of Connecticut while playing baseball for the Huskies, as well as for the Hyannis Mets in the Cape Cod Baseball League.  In his spare time, Mr. D'Argento enjoys playing tournament golf and spending time with his dog Tucker.












Leah Kamataris has been with Windham Capital Group since 2002 and serves as the firms marketing administrator.  Ms. Kamataris is instrumental in capital raising efforts and maintains client relations with the firm's investors.  Ms. Kamataris also manages all administrative requirements of Windham Capital Group as well as assist in the financial / compliance mandates for Spoonhill Asset Management, the firm's affiliated broker dealer.  Ms. Kamataris is a 2002 graduate of Boston College Carroll School of Management and played varsity softball for the Eagles.  In her free time, she enjoys running, golfing, cooking and spending time with her family.

















​​​Blake Carver has recently joined our Internship Development Team for Windham Capital Group, conducting research and mandate searches across the institutional investor landscape.  Mr. Carver is a recent graduate of Rollins College, earning a bachelor's degree in finance.
